Launched in 1999 by sisters Susan Hable Smith and Katherine Hable Sweeney, Hable Construction always parlayed their unique and colorful vision of textile design into an expansive business that now includes bedding, furniture, tabletop pieces as well as digital printing on glass panels.
For Summer 2016, they’ve introduced a number of new textile patterns and color ways through their Hable Studio Collection. I was surprised to find all of my personal favorites from the collection were in shades of charcoal and white. Always known for their bold use of color, I think these monochrome combinations (pictured above) really play up the screen-printed, illustrative style of their work in a more graphic way.
